Just a quick note to record my weight loss so far. Since I’ve been following Dr Fuhrman’s eating advice, I’ve lost – or should I say released – 3.2Kg (7.1lb) since 6 January.
I’m pleased with that, as I’m really focused more on health and vitality, but a part of that will definitely be assisted by weight loss.
Eating in this way, and regularly exercising (walking the dog at a fast pace, karate and swimming) are all undoubtedly helping this to happen fairly effortlessly and gradually.

Glad you like it!
One of the reasons 95% of people regain weight after a diet or other weight loss method is because there is more to losing weight than just calories imho.
Food is often used to keep unwanted emotions suppressed, and unless these emotions or unresolved issues within our lives are dealt with, no amount of diet pills or will power will work in the long term.
Here, at Conscious Inner Transformer, we will explore some of these thoughts, both in connection with weight loss and other areas of daily living.
Transformation of self rarely affects just one area of our lives, as once we release the limitations that have caused us suffering in one area, we are free to expand – like a ripple in water – outwards in all directions – until another boundary is reached.

Our ancient scriptures say that veggies should be consumed raw as much as possible because heating and cooking them destroys much of the nutrients.
Raw veggies have their own enzymes which help the food get digested. Thus our diegstive system is less stressed and the resultant saving of our energy can be utilized for some other fruitful activity.

My heaviest weight loss challenge is why I eat and when, I reckon. I was on course with my weight loss. I’d went from 225 lbs to 152 lbs eating sensibly and exercising out with a trainer. My mama got cancer and my daughter was getting tied and there were a few different affairs as well. The loss of a pet, other pet had surgical operation, a sib who couldn’t cope with my sick mother. That started out a little over a year ago.

I think that’s true for a lot of overweight people Jermaine including myself). Somewhere along the line, we’ve been trained to equate food with comfort, or forgetting, or avoiding – and unless we really deal with that at a deeper level, we’ll continue to sabotage our weight loss efforts.
